High-quality backlinks and its importance for website SEO

Backlinks mean, that you are getting links from other websites to your site or blog to help your posts to rank, to have more visibility and authority. Creating links is not an easy task since it depends on third parties.  The link must be of quality and come from authoritative and themed sites. In principle, the best backlinks are those that are capable of conferring authority and relevance in the eyes of Google with respect to a specific topic. Only these are able to influence the positioning of your web content.

The principle is very simple. If site “ABC”, authoritative and relevant with respect to a topic “links” to a site “XYZ”, it means that site xyz also contains useful and quality information with respect to the reference topic. On average, there are no better backlinks in an absolute sense, because a site can be considered authoritative in its reference niche.

This link would be of a completely different value if the target site dealt with business and finance. Backlinks were and still are useful in search engine optimization terms for one simple reason. They cannot be easily generated, which makes their role quite important. Google is believed to use backlinks as ratings from other site which increases authoritativeness of your site.   • The number of links in a textual content must not be excessive because the higher the number, the more it loses value
  • The anchor text must be chosen carefully, this means that the link must be inserted on relevant keywords with respect to the page
  • The link should refer to an authoritative page. In this case the authority is also linked to the authority of the domain
  • The link must be relevant to the topic covered in the textual content
  • The positioning of the link on the page, the higher this is inserted the more the authoritativeness increases
  • The link inserted as text and with proper anchor text are more valuable than a link directly copied

Conclusion

Needless to say, from what has been said above, that if Google manages to recognize a quote from your site or brand without a link, also including the exact context in which it is being talked about the old link building made just to pull up some forced links, whatever the site of origin, is now practice even counterproductive.
